This moka pot is stainless steel, made in Italy and in nearly new condition, I recently moved and the stove is induction, this moka pot will not work with induction stoves, it works with gas, electric and electric glass top stoves. Without water and coffee, the moka pot weighs about 2.25 pounds. It’s getting harder to find a really good stainless steel moka pot make in Italy, now most are made overseas and the quality is not as good. This moka pot makes about 20 ounces of really good coffee, in moka pot measurements that is about 10 cups. Ideal for: 2 really strong coffees / 4 lattes or cappuccinos / about 6-8 demitasse coffees.
