RARE Vintage Atomic “B” Brevetti Robbiati Coffee Espresso Stovetop Machine Maker. This is a complete working machine and has a cult / iconic status due to it’s classic eames era modernist industrial design. The original bakelite water filler cap is present and not seized. This version is the rare pre-steam wand late 1940’s / early 1950’s Model B – the frother or steam wand was added to later models – this is a rarer earlier version. The Atomic badge to top in good order – see photos. There is an age related split to the coffee holder handle but this does not affect it’s usability – the handle is not at all loose and does it job well. The jug had a couple of minor age related dents but is in good order. Please note that the internal coffee strainer that would sit inside the coffee holder is missing – it should be readily available on the Internet as a spare part. Also it could do with a thorough cleaning through as has been stood for a while – (all loose limescale has been removed with a lemon juice solution). An excellent addition to any collection!
