RARE Vintage Atomic “B” Brevetti Robbiati Coffee Espresso Stovetop Machine Maker. This is a complete working machine and has a cult / iconic status due to it’s classic eames era modernist industrial design. The original bakelite water filler cap is present and not seized. This version is the rare pre-steam wand late 1940’s / early 1950’s Model B – the frother or steam wand was added to later models – this is a rarer earlier version. The Atomic badge to top in good order – see photos. There is an age related split to the coffee holder handle but this does not affect it’s usability – the handle is not at all loose and does it job well. The jug had a couple of minor age related dents but is in good order. Please note that the internal coffee strainer that would sit inside the coffee holder is missing – it should be readily available on the Internet as a spare part. Also it could do with a thorough cleaning through as has been stood for a while – (all loose limescale has been removed with a lemon juice solution). An excellent addition to any collection! This is a complete working machine (took the photos after making a coffee in it). It was given to me by my parents who had it from new. The original bake lite water filler cap is present and not seized. It is currently stored with the cap off as it is common for them to be jammed when not used for long periods. This version has a steam frother. Atomic badge to top in good order- see photos. I have only used this once having watched a tutorial on YouTube. Could do with a thorough cleaning through as has been stood for a while although I have cleaned it out with lemon juice following guidance from an enthusiasts YouTube channel.
